Book your Mother's Day reservation today!
/Hello Millner Newsletter Readers!
Jon, Anna and Iza are suppose to be returning next week from Hungary. However, when I was looking at their vacation pictures on Facebook I saw that Iza had claimed the crown. I'm sure she had some help from Attila the Fun (our new cider to be released this summer). Now we will have to make a new honorary wine and name it Queen Iza.
Mother's Day Buffet
Don and I wrote a completely original song for our upcoming Mother's Day Buffet.
(For legal purposes I have to confess that I'm being sarcastic).

The Glass is Half Full!
Good Evening: Thursday 4/7/16
The photo of the week below is actually the winery version of: "Tie the Yellow Ribbon around the Old Oak Tree." Well it isn't an oak tree and that is not a yellow ribbon. It is what a windy day in MN can do when someone that looks a lot like me, leaves a 400 ft. roll of caution tape in the back of the John Deere Gator. The wind sucked it out and wrapped all over the place.

Tuesday night five of us went out eating Mexican in Litchfield. Phil, our vineyard guy, wholesale guy, and store guy, looked really good with a sombrero on with the mustache and Napoleon pose. Speaking of mustache, it is almost a month now since Jon, Anna, & Iza left for Hungary; since then I have been growing my mustache out. I thought it might be time to show those young guys what a real mustache is like. Soon I will be ready to start waxing.

You know that when the cat's away the mice will play. Last Tuesday we had a staff meeting without Jon, finally we covered a subject that Jon never gets covered. For an 1 1/2 hours we did singing practice. The night before I read-up on what to do to improve your singing ability. The first recommendation was to do proper breathing and the second was to drink plenty of fluids; we had cider by the pitcher. We had plenty of fun and I think it helped everyone. While we were practicing, Jon called and talked with Mary for quite a while. Iza got on the phone and told Grandma that she was home-sick. As I always say, they must have had a vacation because home will really look good.

Tasting Alert!!
This Saturday we will be also pouring tastings at River Lakes Craft Beer & Wine Expo. It is a fund raiser for the River Lakes Youth Hockey Association. The link below will lead you to the hockey homepage and will also link you to the beer and wine event. I have to tell you I did raise a little hell with the management of this event. If you look onto the list of wines and vendor we aren't even mentioned. What happened in the advertising is that the left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing. Just to reassure you, we will be there with MN Crisp, Sechs in a Bottle, Draga, Naplemente, Salier, Gemütlichkeit, and ever popular Little Iza.
